What data is used and why?

- Operation and security: IP address, browser, device, requested pages, date and time, and similar technical data. This is used to deliver the website, detect errors and keep it secure. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in maintaining a safe and operational website.
- Email enquiries: if you email kian@kiannoren.com, your address, message and any information you choose to include will be used to reply. The legal basis is handling your request and, where relevant, taking steps before entering into a contract.
- Analytics: only if you select Accept analytics, Google Analytics collects pseudonymous identifiers, page interactions, approximate location and browser and device information. The legal basis is your consent.
This data is not used to create advertising profiles or make automated decisions, and personal data is not sold.
Service providers and external websites
- Webempresa provides hosting, security and other technical services needed to operate the website.
- Google Ireland Limited and its group companies provide Google Analytics. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area using recognised safeguards, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- The embedded YouTube video is not loaded until you choose to play it. YouTube may then process data under Google’s privacy policy.
- Amazon, Geniuslink, Instagram, TikTok, Substack and other external websites operate independently and apply their own privacy policies.
How long is data kept?
- Technical data is kept for as long as needed to maintain security, resolve incidents and meet possible legal responsibilities.
- Emails are kept while the enquiry is handled and afterwards for any period needed to meet possible legal responsibilities.
- Google Analytics event data is retained for 2 months and user data for 14 months. Aggregated reports may remain without identifying you.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, or withdraw consent by emailing kian@kiannoren.com. Reasonable proof of identity may be requested.
